Magic Cat Academy

Magic Cat Academy is the 2016 Halloween Google Doodle starring Momo, a young black cat studying at a school for magic. When a ghost steals the master spellbook and releases spirits throughout the academy, Momo must chase them from the library to the rooftop and restore peace to the school. Instead of conventional attacks, every battle is won by drawing the symbols shown above each ghost.

Draw Spells, Defeat Ghosts

Use the mouse or a finger to trace horizontal lines, vertical lines, arrows, and other simple shapes. Ghosts carrying several symbols require a sequence drawn in the correct order. Later levels mix faster enemies with longer spell chains, so accurate gestures matter more than frantic scribbling. A heart-shaped spell can restore health when it appears.

• Travel through the library, cafeteria, classroom, gym, and rooftop.
• Face waves of ghosts with increasingly complex symbol combinations.
• Use quick, readable gesture controls on desktop or mobile.
• Enjoy hand-drawn animation, expressive characters, and an energetic soundtrack.
• Replay stages to improve speed and score.

Prioritize the closest ghost, draw each symbol cleanly, and plan multi-symbol spells before the enemy reaches Momo.
